Find your address
Open your VPS in My services and copy its IP address. Initial credentials are restricted to the service owner and require identity confirmation.
Open a terminal
Use a terminal on Windows, macOS or Linux. Replace IP_ADDRESS with your VPS address. Verify the host key fingerprint before accepting it.

Change the initial password with passwd. Then add your SSH public key to ~/.ssh/authorized_keys. Test a second connection before disabling password access.

Apply distribution updates, configure a firewall and expose only necessary ports. The panel manages the VPS lifecycle; you remain responsible for software installed inside it.
