Choose the edition and version before editing. Review defaults and ranges beside each setting. Import is limited to 256 KiB; download creates a new file and never overwrites your original.
Compatibility and limits
Java 1.21.9 and newer use world game rules for PvP and command blocks. Java 26.3 enables the whitelist by default. Imported custom keys are preserved but not certified; back up and stop your server before applying changes.
