What is a Windows Server VPS?+
The VPS runs its own Windows Server operating system in a KVM virtual machine. The hosting panel controls the VM; RDP gives access to the installed system with your supplied credentials.
How do I access my VPS using RDP?+
Use a compatible RDP client from Windows, macOS or Linux. Enter the IP, port and account supplied after delivery, and verify the server identity. Keep network-level authentication and the firewall configured; restrict source addresses where possible. The panel’s KVM console is separate from RDP and helps investigate access problems. It grants no additional RDS licence rights.
Is Windows licensing included, and which licences are eligible?+
A Windows licence is not included. An Evaluation image is not a supplied permanent licence. A key that activates Windows does not establish third-party hosting rights, particularly on shared infrastructure. Have your licensing specialist check the agreement, eligibility and applicable Microsoft terms before deployment. We do not claim that every licence is eligible. Windows Server 2025 Evaluation expires after 180 days. No permanent Windows licence is included. Conversion depends on the installed edition, supported target editions and appropriate licence rights. Some cases require reinstallation: validate these points before production use. The Evaluation edition must be activated over the Internet within the first 10 days to avoid automatic shutdowns. Activation does not extend the 180-day evaluation or replace appropriate licensing.
Which Windows Server version can I choose?+
The list below comes from images approved for Windows plans. An Evaluation edition is not a supplied permanent licence. Check edition, interface and requirements in the configurator. For smaller plans, assess desktop responsiveness and application needs: technical installation minimums do not guarantee comfortable performance. 2 GB RAM is the Windows Server 2025 technical minimum. Microsoft recommends 4 GB for Desktop Experience; allow additional memory for your applications.
Can I host websites with IIS?+
Enable the roles your application needs and configure websites, certificates and permissions. Check required Windows Server components and leave resources for the OS and application pools.
Can I install .NET and services?+
Deploy a .NET release supported by both your Windows Server and application. Separate service accounts, configure recovery and monitor memory and logs. Tools are not all preinstalled.
Can I install my business applications?+
Check that the vendor permits installation on virtualised Windows Server and remote access. Plan licences, dependencies and databases. Desktop-only software is not automatically compatible.
How do I administer and secure Windows Server?+
Automate permitted tasks with PowerShell. Schedule Windows Update, use separate accounts and strong passwords, restrict RDP in the firewall and back up before changes. DDoS protection does not replace these controls.
How many RDP connections are allowed?+
Remote administration through RDP is not an unlimited multiuser RDS service. Your use may require Windows Server rights, RDS CALs or other applicable licensing. Validate user counts and contractual rights before making a service available to users.
How much does a VPS Windows server cost?+
The catalogue above shows current prices. First-month promotions are separate from renewal prices. Changing the billing term recalculates the total for that period.
How are my additional IPv4 addresses delivered?+
Payment for an available plan starts the automated delivery process, subject to checks and capacity. Availability is checked at ordering; no fixed delivery time is guaranteed here.
How many IPv4 addresses can I add to my VPS?+
Order one or more IPv4 addresses as needed, subject to availability. Additional IPv4 : 1.20 € / month / IP.
Can I customize reverse DNS?+
One primary IPv4 is included. Set reverse DNS in your client area. First create an A record pointing the hostname to that IPv4: the panel checks the match before accepting the PTR. Your primary IP stays attached to the VPS.
Can I increase resources later?+
A change requires checking capacity, the operating system, disk and new price. Prepare a backup and confirm the effect on your service. Some changes may require migration or downtime.
How do I pay for my order?+
Choose from the payment methods available in your client area. The full amount is shown before you confirm.
Where are the servers and what DDoS protection is included?+
Servers are in Marseille, France, with Peeryx network DDoS protection. The announced upstream capacity above 15 Tbps is not each server’s network speed.
Can I add storage?+
Add storage at 0.19 € per GB per month, up to 1000 GB in total including the base plan. The purchase flow checks compatibility and shows the prorated charge before payment. Expansion does not shrink the disk; keep a backup before maintenance.
Are backups included?+
Check backup slots, limits and pricing in the configurator. Verify a successful backup before reinstalling or making a major change. Resource upgrades depend on compatibility and available capacity. A backup is a copy for restoration. A snapshot is a rollback point tied to virtual disks, not an independent off-server copy. Check available functions and limits in the panel.
Can I reinstall my VPS?+
Yes, from the panel using an image approved for your plan. Reinstallation replaces the system and erases its data. Export files and databases, check your backup, then confirm the operation.
How much RAM should I choose?+
2 GB RAM is the Windows Server 2025 technical minimum. Microsoft recommends 4 GB for Desktop Experience; allow additional memory for your applications. Allow for the OS, services and concurrent workload, then keep measured headroom. Installation minimums do not guarantee comfortable application performance. vCPUs share the host processor; memory and disk capacity serve different purposes.
How do I migrate my applications?+
Inventory versions, IIS roles, accounts, certificates, databases and licences. Back up and test exports, then install compatible components on the new VM. Update access and firewall settings, verify activation and licence rights, and test the application before switching over. Copying a folder is not a full system migration.
